4 Days To Orientation

Hey y'all!! Thanks for your interest in what God's doing in Beaufort, SC, and for your prayers. I have only 4 days left until I leave for my orientation in Bluffton, SC. I have already started to talk with some of the other girls on my team, but I haven't met anyone yet. Basically, I have these next 4 days to pack like I'm going to college for a semester, minus the school supplies! God has really been preparing me for this trip in mighty ways. Already, He has given me patience just in the process of applications and preparation for the summer. He has allowed me to become familiar with the surroundings and people of the area from previous family vacations and church ministry trips. There are so many things that God has blessed me with to make me ready for His work this summer.

Before I forget, I want to thank everyone for such a wonderful commissioning Wednesday night. To be honest, I looked forward to that prayer almost more than finishing school this year. I just get to excited watching and hearing God's people come to Him in worship and adoration praying for His blessings on a brother or sister in Christ- it is such an encouragement to me! So listening to and feeling your pleas on my behalf was a humbling experience; thank you. In your prayers for me over the next 10 weeks, I ask you to pray also for my team members. From what I know of a few already, they are such servants and students of God!

I'll be sure to keep you all updated as often as I can, although I'm not sure how often I'll have access to internet or the time to type it. I love you all!!
